Research conducted in Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania, Portugal and Slovakia aimed to gather experiences of women and children with disabilities victims of gender-based violence. We identify strengths and weaknesses of reporting mechanisms, support services and how women and children with disabilities access reparations and remedies. We also provide recommendations to develop monitoring methods and protocols to address gender and disability-based violence in institutions and community-based services.
The reports will serve as a basis of the international synthesis report, the monitoring methodology and trainings, as well as the cross-disciplinary protocols created on national level.
